As the voice of The Modern Mom, I’m asked to do a lot of commercial work…Sears, Wal-Mart, Von Maur, Girl Scouts, Centers for Disease Control, QualMed of Idaho, HCR Manorcare, DHHS in multiple states, RESCUE Traps (funny story behind that one), and numerous medical groups.
Whether I’m the mom talking about her favorite store, the mom grateful for good healthcare, or the daughter concerned about her aging parents’ wellbeing, I bring warmth, friendliness, compassion and credibility to my clients’ voiceovers. One of the projects I’m most proud of was a series of commercials for the CDC encouraging parents to immunize. Here’s to healthy kids!
I’ve lent my working mom cred to Bank of Oklahoma, HealthNet MHN, Huntwood Cabinets, Columbia Asia Hospital, Lumedx, Avista and many others as their corporate voice. I’m an educated professional, as well as a real and approachable mom, which is what many companies are listening for in a voice.

I am also a teacher. What do I teach? Quite a variety of subjects if you look at my resume. I’ve taught nursing students in countless online modules with Assessment Technologies Institute. I’ve taught MS patients how to use their new Pfizer app. I’ve instructed Saab employees on the intricacies of internal software. I’ve educated parents on the exciting adventures available through People to People International. And I’ve taught other moms how to help their children develop character through iMom’s CD programs.
Some of my favorite projects are documentaries. From the medical story behind MS to the historical movement of women’s suffrage to the then-and-now story of an historic theater, I bring a warm, articulate and credible voice to all my documentary voiceovers.
As a stage actor and storyteller, I love doing characters! From the Modern Mom to the Coffee Talk Lady, a cartoon baby to a British Nanny, a Southern Belle to a New York bimbo, a Creepy Crone to that annoying Computer Voice… yup, I’ve done them all and more. (These tend to be pretty hilarious sessions.)
